The Tacking Point Lighthouse is located on a bluff approximately 5 km south of the town of Port Macquarie, New South Wales, Australia. Light dates to 1879. It is a white 8 metre tall cement tower with lantern and gallery attached to a small equipment building. Lighthouse has blue trim. It overlooks a beautiful 9 km beach known as Lighthouse Beach. Light is active. Photos taken in April 2017.
