The Castillo Grande Lighthouse sits at the end of a peninsula that extends from the Boca Grande area of Cartagena and marks the entrance to the main harbour at Cartagena. This lighthouse that was built in 1973 is a 22 metre (72 foot) concrete block tower. The light is active and sits on property owned by the Columbian navy. Photos taken in March 2016.
