Stroma Island Lighthouse, Scotland

The Stroma Island Lighthouse (Swilkie Point) is on Stroma Island at the most Northerly tip of Scotland. The light was established in 1896 to warn ships of the dangerous whirlpool currents of the Swilkie. Photos taken in May 2009. In one of the photos, the Duncansby Head lighthouse can be seen in the distance.

  1. Pretty nice lighthouse. When you get a trip for corryvreckan boat trips, you'll get to see some more lighthouses in the coast.
