Kungshamn Lighthouse, Stockholm, Sweden
Established in 1905 this small light is on the main channel for ship traffic to Stockholm. There are intersecting North and South Channels in this area. Photos taken in June 2009.
Good Lord, Neal, you certainly get around a bit! So far, I like Hearts Content, but the Russian ones are brilliant!! Though I suspect they are so tall, their lights might get hidden by low clouds?
Thanks for the comment. Hope to visit a lot more this summer and I just was in Ontario and took a few of the lights on Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. Cheers, Neal
Someone asked me, "What is it you love about lighthouses?'
I guess it is because seeking out lighthouses as a hobby combines so many things that I enjoy: travel, the sea, being outdoors, photography and history.
So, having a lighthouse blog, allows me to share my love of lighthouses with others. Each post will be about a different lighthouse that I have visited and have photographed over the years. I hope you enjoy. I have also started a bird blog for the birds I have photographed (August 1, 2013).
Good Lord, Neal, you certainly get around a bit!
