This lighthouse is located on the Burren in County Clare, Ireland. It is situated on a rugged headland overlooking the entrance to Galway Bay. Photo taken in May 2001.

I guess it is because seeking out lighthouses as a hobby combines so many things that I enjoy: travel, the sea, being outdoors, photography and history.
