This light is found at the end of a long breakwater that extends out from Moll Adossat where the cruise ship terminals are located for the larger cruise ships that dock in Barcelona. Light is 13 metres high. No date of construction was found however it was subject to adding a top piece in 2015. Photos taken in October 2016.

Port of Barcelona, Dique de Abrigo, South Head Light, Barcelona, Spain
This light is located at the end of a jetty that extends out from Placa de la Rosa Dels Vents (near the Hotel W) in the port of Barcelona. It marks the entrance to the inner North Harbour in the Port of Barcelona. Light is 13 metres tall. I was unable to obtain many details, however earlier photos show it with a flat top and an article indicates that the new top was added in 2015. Photos taken in October 2016.
Llobregat Lighthouse (Faro del Llobregat), Barcelona, Spain
The Llobregat Lighthouse is located at the north side of the mouth of the River Llobregat. It is south of the port of Barcelona. The light dates from 1852. The base is a round two story keeper's house with a three part tower above. The lower part of the tower is square and then the middle section is octagonal with a gallery above. The tower is 102' from the ground. It is the oldest lighthouse in Catalonia. When the Montjuic Lighthouse was built, this light was ordered demolished, however protests saved it. It remains active. Gibraltar North Mole (D Head) Lighthouse, Gibraltar, British Overseas Territory
The Gibraltar North Mole (D Head) Lighthouse is an octagonal cast iron skeletal tower with a central cylinder painted black. The stands 56' tall and has a red flashing light. It is located at the end of the north breakwater in the port of Gibraltar. Photos taken in October 2016.
Europa Point Lighthouse, Gibraltar, British Overseas Territory
The Europa Point Lighthouse is located at the extreme southern tip of the Gibraltar peninsula at the Strait of Gibraltar leading from the Mediterranean Sea to the east to the Atlantic Ocean to the west. This light was built in 1841 and is a 62' tall masonry tower. The lighthouse is white with a large red horizontal stripe. The lighthouse is operated by Trinity House and managed by the Government of Gibraltar. Photos taken in October 2016.
Dique del Este, Malaga, Spain
This light is located on the East Quay in the Port of Malaga adjacent to the cruise terminal. Light is a small tower atop what appears to be an equipment room. Light stands 13 metres high. This light is in the bend of the quay and a long breakwater extends past it to the sea. Photos taken in October 2016.
Malaga Lighthouse (La Farola), Malaga, Spain
The Malaga Lighthouse, known locally as La Farola, is located at the east side of the harbour in Malaga, Spain. It sits at the base of a long breakwater that leads out to the port's cruise terminal. The light, one of the oldest in Spain dates to 1817. It is a two story keeper's house with a large round masonry tower rising from the centre. The tower is 121' tall. This lighthouse was damaged on two occasions and had to be extensively repaired. The first was an earthquake in 1898 and the light was not completely repaired until 1913. The second was damage caused by artillery during the Spanish Civil War in the 1930's and it was repaired by 1939. Photos were taken in October 2016.
Podadera Lighthouse, Cartagena, Spain
The Podadera Lighthouse sits on a promontory on the west side of the entrance to the harbour at Cartagena, Spain. The lighthouse was built in 1866 but was deactivated in the 1890's when the Dique de la Navidad and Dique de la Curro were constructed. All that remains of the lighthouse is the rectangular building and the base of the tower which sat atop it. Tower and gallery were removed. In the photo taken in October 2016 the Podadera Lighthouse is the structure highest on the hillside.
Arab Lantern, Cartagena, Spain
Located near the Castillo de la Concepcion on a hill overlooking the main harbour of Cartagena, Spain is the remains of a tower that dates back to the 12th Century A.D. This tower from the Arab era is said to have been a lantern that acted as a lighthouse for mariners during that time. Photos were taken in October 2016.
Escombreras Lighthouse, Cartagena, Spain
The Escombreras Lighthouse sits atop the Isla Escombreras which is located just south and east of the entrance to the main harbour at Cartagena, Spain. The harbour of Escombreras is between the lighthouse and the main harbour of the city. The lighthouse consists of a one story keepers house with a 26' tower atop it. The light dates to 1864. This somewhat distant photo was taken in October 2016.
Dique de la Navidad Lighthouse, Cartagena, Spain
The Dique de la Navidad Lighthouse is located on a short breakwater on the west side of the entrance to the harbour at Cartagena, Spain. It is not far from the Fuerte de Navidad (Christmas Fort) which is just above it on the point. The light is red and white and is a 36' concrete tower that dates to 1892. The Dique de la Curra Lighthouse is located on the end of the east breakwater at the entrance to the harbour at Cartagena, Spain. The 36' tall concrete tower is painted green and white. Dique del Norte Lighthouse, Valencia, Spain
The Dique del Norte Lighthouse is located at the bend of the main breakwater in the harbour at Valencia, Spain. The lighthouse dates back to 1909. It is a 72' high cast iron tower. In 1930 the breakwater was extended and the lighthouse was moved from its original position. At that time they added a masonry shell around the cast iron tower. Photos were taken in October 2016.

Fort Point Lighthouse, San Francisco, California
The Fort Point Lighthouse is a small pyramidal cast iron skeletal tower that sits atop Fort Winfield under the south tower of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California. The station was established in 1855 and the current lighthouse was build in 1864. The station has been inactive since 1934. Unfortunately I was only able to get one poor photo of the light during my trip to the area in September 2016.
Lime Point Lighthouse, Marin County, California
The Lime Point Lighthouse sits on the point at the base of the north tower of the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin County near Sausalito, California. It is not far from Fort Baker in the Golden Gate Recreation Area. The station was established as a fog signal in 1883. The current one story building dates to 1900 and when built a beacon was affixed to the top of it. The light remains an active aid to navigation. Alcatraz Island Lighthouse, San Francisco Bay, San Francisco, California
The Alcatraz Island Lightouse sits on Alcatraz Island in the middle of San Francisco Bay, San Francisco, California. The island is much more famous for the maximum security prison that was built there and housed many notorious criminals when it was in operation(1933 - 1963). The island is federal land and tours of the island and prison are a popular tourist attraction in San Francisco. The light station was established on the island in 1854 with the current light dating to 1909. The light is an 84 foot tall concrete octagonal pyramidal Tower. The station also has a fog signal. The light remains active as an aid to navigation. There was a keeper's house however it was destroyed by fire during the Native American occupation and protests in 1970. Race Rocks Lighthouse, Sooke, British Columbia
The Race Rocks Lighthouse sits on the Race Rocks a group of rocks just off the Southern coast of Vancouver Island near Sooke, British Columbia. The light station was established there in 1860. It is a 80 foot tall round stone tower painted black and white with a red roof on the light tower. It was restored in 2009. The area around the lighthouse is Race Rocks Marine Protected area and permission is required to land on the island. The light remains an active aid to navigation.
